My name is Janey and I'm a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited integrative psychotherapist and counsellor. Thank you for finding my website.


Life can throw all sorts of challenges at us; dealing with crises, separation, bereavement, work based difficulty and lots more. Or sometimes life can just be hard and complicated for reasons we can't quite put our finger on. This can be incredibly exhausting, leaving us feeling lost, lonely, irritable, tearful, scared, angry and emotionally overwhelmed. Other times we can feel unable to function or cope, and these difficulties can cause depression, anxiety, relationship problems, disconnection and even episodes like panic attacks. In moments like these, therapy can help.


Sometimes we just need someone who will listen to us; someone completely impartial who is non-judgmental and unconnected to our lives. I offer a calm, supportive, respectful environment to help you work through the problems and difficulties you are facing. A good connection between therapist and client can help you to feel less alone, giving you a safe, confidential space to explore what's happening for you at the moment. It can also help you to gain deeper insights and new perspectives, whilst encouraging you to begin to make more conscious choices about your future.
